Photo Therapy

I have been moving in and out of a kind of fog for the past couple of weeks. Sometimes I feel that everything will work out for the best and that we are still headed in the right direction, then I suddenly plummet into the darkness with thoughts of us falling farther behind and the thought that if we wait it will be too late. The thoughts tend to consume me at times.

I then read Christine's latest post. She mentioned using photography as a form of therapy. I have always loved photography...the photo's on my blog are all mine. I have never thought of channeling my thoughts and emotions through it though. I decided to take her up on it and try it out. Here is the result of my day of "photo therapy."

You are AWESOME and those photographs.....simply beautiful and stunning!!! My absolute favorite one is the second one! It reminds me of how even though all of us are like birds with broken wings, we will one day be healed and learn to soar again.

Keep up with your photography. You have a real eye and talent for it. Perhaps you could look into taking more pictures and selling some on etsy?!? Just a thought!

Those pictures are EXTRAORDINARY. Agree with Christine about the picture with the birds and the clouds - even if I had the sense of composition to see that, there's no POSSIBLE way I would have gotten that shot. I was well above average at figure drawing, but I never got further with photos than not cutting off people's heads. Real photography is a gift, and you definitely have it. I've actually been thinking myself, lately, about returning to a few (not really exceptional) creative gifts that I had occasion to exercise while in school, but, in the working world, no longer. I don't think I can name an artistic genius in any field who didn't suffer much in life, and here I am, wasting all this valuable suffering with nothing to show for it. I should make something! You definitely have, and I for one wish you would keep it up. I wouldn't mind regular installments of BeeBee's photos. (You could distribute them, even sell them - infertility banners, or something. And talk to Monica of KuKd fame - she has a literary/artistic magazine on IF and pregnancy loss.)
